Mal's expression is probably the best thing ever.
And I really want Book-in-the-Alliance story now...
And Zoe & Wash! Eeep!

...in short, I really hope you do this because the sketches are gorgeous and it's all very intriguing...

OH man! I want to read Book's story now! I sure hope that these don't stay as drawings for a potential Firefly prequal story for long. It would be just fantastic if it happened.

PS-- the little detailings on Book's uniform are quite the awesome. All those heavy fabrics and armorthings and little compartments, and you make them look worn from movement. Niice.

Best of luck! You've really managed to capture the characters' auras, for lack of a better word, which is more than I can say for the lifeless art in the Dark Horse Serenity comics.

And Mal and Harrison Ford are SO related. Great stuff!

I'm not even entirely sure. I figure that he probably fooled around with the Alliance from his late teens to his late 20's (he may've been an Operative), then went through some nasty stuff that sent him packing for Christ.
